Cabanas, Daybeds, and Rental Pricing
There are many different rental options to choose from. Below, we break down and provide full details about each type.
Over the Water Super Villa

First up are Carnival’s Super Villas! They spent a lot of type hyping this amazing rental option. With two over-the-water Super Villas and two standard Super Villas, that means there’s only 4 total available across all of Celebration Key. These are definitely the most exclusive spots to be on the island.
The two Over-the-Water Super Villas are located in family-friendly Starfish Lagoon and adult-friendly Calypso Lagoon. These Super Villas accommodate up to 12 people, however, there is an extra person surcharge for guests 11 and 12. The Over-the-Water Cabanas include a host of amenities:
- Eight-seat sectional sofa
- Bar with stools
- Eight-seat dining table
- Swing chair
- Hammock
- Four loungers under an umbrella
- Two water loungers
- Water slide for splashing fun
Additional inclusions with the Super Villa include:
- 2 lockers
- 2 coolers
- a storage cabinet
- Fans
- a mini fridge stocked with bottled water and sodas for each guest
- charging points
As you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a spread of fruit and snacks. They also offer lunch delivery for free, however, there’s no mention of lunch actually being included.
And how much will all of this cost? An Over-the-Water Super Villa goes for an eye-watering $1,999.99 for up to 10 guests. For our 8 hour visit to Celebration Key, the rental cost breaks down to $250 every hour of our stay
Beach Super Villa

The other 2 Super Villas are located at family-friendly Starfish Beach. Just like the over-the-water siblings, there are only two of these available and can accommodate up to 12 guests (with a surcharge for guests 11 and 12). The amenities are similar, plus, you get access to a Private Beachfront.
Beach Super Villa inclusions:
- Seven-seat sectional sofa
- Bar with stools
- Eight-seat dining table
- Two hammocks
- Six loungers under an umbrella.
- Two lockers
- Three coolers
- Storage cabinet
- Fans
- Mini fridge stocked with bottled water and sodas for each guest
- Charging points
- Villa attendant
Once again, when you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a spread of fruit and snacks. The Rental also includes Lunch Delivery.
The non-over-the-water Super Villas go for $1,799.99 for up to 10 people. For our 8 hour visit to Celebration Key, the rental cost breaks down to $225 every hour of our stay
Small Cabanas

Don’t feel like shelling out close to $2,000 on your visit to Celebration Key, but would still like something a bit more luxurious than just a lounge chair? You might be interested in Cabanas! There are three cabana options: Small Cabana, Over-the-Lagoon Cabana, and a Large Cabana. Let’s first look at the Small Cabanas:.
Small Cabanas can accommodate a maximum of six guests, however, like the Super Villas, there is a per person charge for guests five and six. Below are where you’ll find Small Cabanas on Celebration Key:
- Starfish Splashpad Cabana – Located in family-friendly Starfish Lagoon, these cabanas are “a hop, skip, and a splash away from the Guppy Grotto splashpad.” Perfect for parents that want to keep an eye on their little ones.
- Starfish Lagoon Cabana (options available North and South of the Lagoon) – These Cabanas are “Nestled in the lively Starfish Lagoon” and are “just a stroll away from the inviting freshwater lagoon and scrumptious dining options.
- Calypso Lagoon 18+ Cabana – Located in the adult-friendly area of Celebration Key, Carnival shares that this option is great for “napping, reading, or sipping a refreshing drink…” and that it’s “…your personal slice of paradise for an unforgettable day by the water.” Keep in mind, this Cabana type is only for adults 18+.
All of the Small Cabanas include the following amenities:
- Three-seat sectional sofa
- Two armchairs
- Two loungers under an umbrella
- Locker for your belongings
- Cabana attendant
A Small Cabana will cost $599.99 for up to 4 guests. Keep in mind, like all rentals, only booked guests are allowed to use the Small Cabana.
Over-the-Lagoon Cabanas

The Over-the-Lagoon Cabanas are siblings to the Small Cabanas. However, this option sits over water! You’ll find Over-the-Water Lagoon Cabanas in family-friendly Starfish Lagoon and adult-friendly Calypso Lagoon. In fact, Calypso Lagoon also features an 18+ rental option that’s adults only.
The Over-the-Lagoon Cabanas accommodate up to six guests, however, guests five and six will pay a per person surcharge. Let’s take a look at the amenities of these Over-the-Lagoon Cabanas:
- Three-seat sectional sofa
- Two armchairs
- Two water loungers under an umbrella,
- Locker for your belongings
- Fan
- Charging points to keep your devices powered
- Cabana attendant
Even though these cabanas accommodate the same number of people as the Small Cabana sibling, you’ll pay a premium for being over the water. An Over-the-Water Cabana will cost $739.99 for up to 4 guests. Once again, only booked guests are allowed to use the Over-the-Water Cabana.
Large Cabanas

Large Cabanas are just what the name implies: a bigger version of the Small Cabanas. With similar amenities, these cabanas can accommodate up to eight guests. Like every other rental option we’ve covered, however, guests seven and eight will pay a surcharge.
Large Cabanas can be found in:
- Starfish Lagoon (both North and South) – family-friendly area
- Calypso Lagoon South – adult-friendly area
- Calypso Lagoon 18+ – adults-only
Amenities for the Large Cabanas include:
- Four-seat sectional sofa
- Four loungers under an umbrella
- Four seat dining table,
- Locker for your belongings
- Fan
- Charging points for your devices
- Cabana attendant
Large Cabanas also receive a couple perks that the smaller versions don’t include:
- Two coolers with water and a variety of soft drinks
- Snacks upon arrival
- Lunch delivery
Whichever Large Cabana you choose to rent, they cost $899.99 for up to 6 guests. Once again, only booked guests are allowed to use the Large Cabana – and don’t forget that surcharge if you bring a seventh or eighth cruiser with you!
Luxury Daybeds

There are Luxury Daybeds all across Celebration Key! This category of daybed is described as including a “spacious cushioned daybed with adjustable curtains for personalized sun protection, and pillows” and can accommodate up to two guests.
A Luxury Daybed will help protect you from the sun while giving you an elevated experience during your stay. Here are where you’ll find Luxury Daybeds:
- Luxury Daybeds at Starfish Splashpad are located at the vibrant Starfish Lagoon: “a hop, skip, and a splash away from the Guppy Grotto splashpad.” This location is perfect for parents that want to keep an eye on their children playing.
- Luxury Daybeds at Starfish Beach are located on the beachfront. In fact, Carnival sells these as “just steps away from Starfish Beach.”
- Luxury Daybeds at Starfish Lagoon are located in the family-friendly area of Celebration Key and include options both North and South of Starfish Lagoon. Carnival shares that your “daybed is just a stroll away from the inviting freshwater lagoon and scrumptious dining options.”
- Luxury Daybeds at Calypso Lagoon are located in the adult-friendly area of Celebration Key. There are options available on both the North and South of the lagoon.
- Luxury Daybeds at Calypso Lagoon 18+ are also located in the adult-friendly area, however, these daybeds are for adults only – hence the 18+ label.
- Luxury Daybeds at Calypso Beach are located in the adult-friendly Calypso Beach area.
The price for a Luxury Daybed is $149.99 for up to two guests. Only those that have rented the daybed will be able to use it during the stay (no sharing).
Water Daybed

There’s one more daybed category, and that’s a Water Daybed. The Water Daybeds are only found at the Calypso Lagoon Swim Up Bar for those that are 18+. Carnival describes this daybed option as being in the “heart of the action.” They “boast a prime spot adjacent to the lively swim-up bar and pulsating rhythms of DJ island.”
The Water Daybed costs $119.99 for up to two guests. Only those that have rented the daybed will be able to use it during the stay (no sharing).
Aquabana

Aquabanas are a new type of rental that Carnival is introducing on Celebration Key – and they look kind of cool! According to Carnival, cruisers will “Discover the ultimate aquatic experience where an Aquabana rental offers you a floating haven.”
Aquabanas accommodate up to ten guests, however, there is an extra surcharge for guests nine and ten.
Features of these “buoyant loungers” include:
- Spacious, shaded canopy
- Comfortable seating for multiple guests
- Built-in table perfect for snacks and drinks
The Aquabana costs $449.99 for up to eight guests.
Pearl Cove Beach Club

The last rental option we’ll review is for adults-only (18+). It’s the exclusive Pearl Cove Beach Club. There are three levels of access you can purchase:
General Access
This option just gets you in the door to Pearl Cove Beach Club. It provides you with exclusive beachfront and pool access along with a premium lounger. There’s a full-service restaurant available in the Beach Club for an extra cost.
Pearl Cove Beach Club General Access costs $99.99 per adult.
Open Bar
This option provides everything that General Access does and adds 10 drinks to your stay. We’re not a huge fan of the drinks, however, as they limit you to rum punch, draft domestic beer (regular + light beer), house red and white wine, all well drinks, frozen strawberry daquiris and piña coladas.
Pearl Cove Beach Club Open Bar costs $139.99 per adult. I guess one can’t complain about rail drinks when you get ten drinks for an extra $40 compared to General Access.
All Inclusive
The final option is the one we think most guests will gravitate toward, and that’s the All Inclusive pass. This option includes access to the club, the Open Bar drinks, and adds in a “premium lunch” with an “elevated menu.” Think lobster and other other upscale dishes.
Pearl Cove Beach Club All Inclusive costs $179.99 per adult.
Food Pricing

While there’s not yet a lot of information available about Celebration Key pricing on food venues, here’s what we do know: Celebration Key introduces a new dining plan called “Island Eats.” The plan includes one meal per person at a fast-casual restaurant during a visit to Celebration Key. To redeem, a guest simply swipes their Sail & Sign card and collects their meal.
Carnival has not defined what is included in a “meal,” however, they have shared the types of food you can expect to enjoy with Island Eats.
- Burgers
- Hot dogs
- Fried chicken
- Pizza
- Mediterranean bowls
- Tacos and burritos
If you’d prefer to dine at one of the full-service restaurants, you can do that instead. You’ll receive a 25% discount on one entrée per person. However, your fast casual meal will be considered “redeemed” at this point and you will be required to pay for any additional food during your visit.
Several travel agents had a negative reaction to this part of the presentation. “During an 8-hour visit, a guest receives one free hot dog and then has to pay for anything else they wish to eat?” Yup. Ouch.
Of course, guests that don’t wish to purchase additional food after they’ve redeemed their Island Eats meal will have the ability to return to the ship and eat on board.
Excursion Pricing

As we get closer to the launch of Celebration Key, we’ll put together an entire list of Celebration Key Excursions. In the meantime, here are just a couple of the options available and their price point:
- Open Top Sightseeing Bus for $44.99
- ATV and Owl’s Hole Cenote Swim for $129.99
- Swim with the pigs and visit Crystal Beach for $134.99
- Snorkel and Connect with Dolphins for $189.99
Looking for even more adrenaline? There’s also Jet Ski rental and visit to Taino Bay for $259.99 per person. This one looks like a blast!

Celebration Key Bookings
Are you excited for Carnival’s exclusive Celebration Key launching in July? Do you already have Celebration Key booked on one of your upcoming Carnival itineraries? Let us know in the comments! And if you need help booking, don’t hesitate to reach out to Rocky!
If you have any questions, drop those in the comments below. And let us know what you think about pricing.
What is actually free at celebration key? Are the chairs, free umbrellas or a charge? I’m assuming as they usually are but just access to a beach for free?
Great question! We’re wondering the same thing. Based on the information that’s been shared by the cruise line, they haven’t mentioned anything about lounge chairs or umbrellas. We intend to keep a close eye on the news and media regarding Celebration Key and will share any information as soon as we hear it Otherwise, we will be on the first ship to call on the exclusive destination in July and plan to share a wealth of more information at that time! -Rocky
If we book a cabana, how much is the fee for the 5th person?
That’s a great question, Karen, and one that Carnival has still yet to answer for us. We were expecting additional information early May with the grand opening just over two months away – and we’ve yet to hear a peep. As soon as we get an answer, I promise, we’ll share here and on YouTube so that everyone has the info. At some point, Carnival is going to have to tell cruisers this information!! lol 😉
PS- sorry for the delay as we were on a ship when this came through and I’m catching up now that we’re home. -Mark
I’ve been to most beaches and they are all free to my understanding if we just lay a towel there to keep our spot. This sounds like a money pit to me if paying more if we want something but I bet swimming in the pools would be free unless you want to rent a spot. We are going early September so we shall see how this money pit works and I will get back….
We believe the beach should be free, as Carnival talks about “upgrading your day” with a cabana or other rental. However, they have yet to explicitly state what is and isn’t included on Celebration Key. We expect more details VERY soon considering the grand opening is just over two months away. As soon as we have additional details, we’ll be sure to share. -Mark
If you get a Cabana at Pearl cove for $769.99, does that include the $99 Pearl Cove entrance fee, or will you need to pay that on top of the $769.99?
Wow, that’s a GREAT question. Like you probably already did, I went to Carnival’s website to dig in and they are not clear at all on whether or not that rental includes admission. I even pulled up all of the original press releases and news articles – and it’s not specified. With that said, the Pearl Cove Beach Club Cabana Rental does include the same drinks package that admission packages include, so I’m going to assume it includes admission… But you’ll definitely want to confirm with Carnival.
When are you headed to Celebration Key? -Mark
I called my Carnival Rep, they did not see the answer for this question either. We have time as we wont be there until January. But these have limited availability and if we want one, we may need to move quickly. This looks like a it would be ok if 4 of us could get into pearl Cove and have a cabana for $769.99, But it might be a little pricey if the total cost is $1,169.99 ( even if you get up to 10 drinks)
I talked to Rocky about this today as well and we agree… If it includes access to Pearl Cove Beach Club and the 10-drink package – AND the Cabana rental – it’s a pretty darn good deal, actually. That might be the cruise tip we share (we’ll wait until after you book, however, so we don’t cause you to lose your cabana!! 😉
We fully expected Carnival to release more information by this point about Celebration Key. More details should be coming soon. Rocky even scoured his resources trying to find you a concrete answer, but it doesn’t seem like there’s one out there yet. Worst case scenario, we’ll be there for the grand opening in July and we’ll track down an answer then! -Mark
I have also rented a cabana in Pearl Cove Beach club and can not find out if it includes admission or not. Or if I need to buy admission on top of the cabana rental.
Hey there! You know what, I just read through the description for the Pearl Cove Beach Club Cabana and you’re right, it does NOT explicitly state that admission to Pearl Cove Beach Club is included. With that said, the price point tells me that admission is indeed included. Plus, when you read the fine print, it explains that you’ll head to Pearl Cove to check in and receive your wristband which includes 10 alcoholic drinks. This is the Pearl Cove Beach Club: Open Bar excursion from Carnival’s website, which DOES indeed include access to the beach club. While we’d love to see Carnival update their website to more explicitly call out the admission inclusion, not to worry, based on everything I’m seeing, you will be covered on your day in paradise! -Mark
