I never thought I’d be writing an article about a diaper on thiscruiselife, but here I am! Today, I’m telling you all about why I always pack diapers on my cruise!

In all seriousness, one of the very first items I discovered that is now a staple on my packing list. It’s something called a “wine diaper.” This ultra-absorbent sealed bag is designed to transport a bottle of wine or champagne safely in your suitcase. Of course, you don’t have to use it only for bottles of wine and champagne; I pack all of my liquids in wine diapers when I travel for a cruise!
While the padding inside the bag provides protection against minor bumps and bangs, the biggest feature of this product is the ultra-absorbent lining. Once, we had a bottle of mouthwash break open during transport. Thanks to the JetBag Wine Diaper, none of the liquid escaped the sealed bag; it was quickly absorbed by the padding.
