Today kicks off the 90-day countdown for Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber! As the brand prepares to launch its newest ship, we’re sharing our best Margaritaville at Sea tips with you. About a year ago, we hosted a social media takeover where we shared all sorts of updates about Margaritaville at Sea. We’ve stripped out the Tips and Tricks and are sharing them with you!
Here’s the fun part. Many of these tips will likely apply to Beachcomber too. So refresh your memory, and get ready to put those fins up.
Tip #1 Build Your Own Tacos
Margaritaville at Sea Islander first introduced the fast-casual Mexican spot Mexican Cutie Cantina. This spot on deck 9 allows you to build your own tacos and burritos. But that’s not all! In our first tip, we share a some things cruisers often miss. The number of times someone has said to us, “I didn’t know that!” blows our mind.
Tip #2: Cheeseburger in Paradise
There’s a new cheeseburger on the ocean, and this one has a famous song! You can find Cheeseburger in Paradise on both Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and Margaritaville at Sea Islander. Plus, you’ll find the largest Cheeseburger in Paradise at sea on Beachcomber when she debuts!

Tip #4: Top-Notch Entertainment
Grab a margarita and get ready for world-class entertainment. Both Margaritaville at Sea Paradise and Margaritaville at Sea Islander offer feet-bopping stage shows. You’ll also find Jimmy Buffett concerts and live singers all over the ships.
Both ships feature a version of the Caribbean Heat stage show and Radio Margaritaville, plus Islander has Conky Tonkin’ at Sea.
When Beachcomber launches, she’ll have a whole new slate of entertainment to check out!
Tip #5: Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria
Did you know Margaritaville has a pizza chain? Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria is at many land-based resorts. Now it’s at sea too!
Margaritaville at Sea first introduced Frank and Lola’s on Paradise as an upcharge venue. In 2024, the cruise line added it to Islander as an included dining option. Based on its popularity, the brand did the same for Paradise in 2025.

Tip #6: Best Time To Book
Sadly, the promotions from our original Tip #6 have long since sailed away! Not to worry. This all-new tip has you covered.
So when is the best time to book? Honestly, there’s no single answer. Margaritaville at Sea, like all cruise lines, runs promotions all throughout the year. Some cruisers say Wave Season at the start of the year is best. Others swear by Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We’ve seen great deals during both, so we encourage you to check the sales.
As we write this, Margaritaville at Sea is running a 50% sale. Plus, 3rd and 4th guests sail free. The occasion? According to the brand, because we’re “Sailing into Fall” and what better way to celebrate!
So when should you book? Truth be told, it’s often today. Depending on the offer, you may be able to get a price drop honored. Ask your travel agent if you’re not sure.
Tip #7: Specialty Dining On Board
We don’t splurge on specialty dining every day. But a few spots on Margaritaville at Sea are absolutely worth it.
Both Paradise and Islander have JWB Prime Steakhouse. It even won our “Best of…” award. We love the Wagyu meatball and can’t recommend it enough.
Another awesome spot is Far Side Sushi. You’ll find delicious sushi rolls, salads, and more. The price point is very reasonable, so it’s easy to fill up without breaking the bank.

Bonus Tip: Don’t Miss the Sunshine Skyway Bridge
This bonus tip only applies to Margaritaville at Sea Islander. We think you’ll love it anyway!
When you sail away from the Port of Tampa Bay, you cruise right under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. It’s one of the coolest moments of the trip. You won’t believe how close the ship gets to the road above.

Final Thoughts
As we reflect on it, 4 of our 8 Margaritaville at Sea tips were about food and drink! 😂 If you found yourself nodding along, or getting hungry, you’re going to have a great time onboard.
