On September 4, 2026, a new cruise ship showed up in Norwegian Cruise Line booking engines. The ship name was grayed out and not yet selectable – but its presence in the filter selection box is a good indicator we now know the final ship in NCL’s popular Prima-class. Following Norwegian Prima, Norwegian Viva, Norwegian Aqua, Norwegian Luna, Norwegian Aura, it appears we’ll now have Norwegian Bella!

While the name of the final Prima-class ship hasn’t been confirmed by the cruise line, the operator filed a trademark for the name Norwegian Bella in February of 2023. On that same day, they also filed the trademark for Norwegian Aqua.

When Luna was announced as the 4th Prima-class ship, we thought the 5th Prima-class ship would be Bella.

But then, in September of 2025, Norwegian filed the Norwegian Aura trademark application and Aura briefly showed up as a grayed out option for booking to prior to being announced.

Fast forward a year, and we finally see Norwegian Bella get her turn as a grayed out booking option! Of course, Norwegian Cruise Line could still go with a different name – as they did with Norwegian Aura. But loading the ship into the booking engine is a pretty good indicator we’ll see a Norwegian Bella soon.
