It’s been a bucket list item for me to take a cruise on an inaugural sailing for several years. While my first was slated to be the Celebrity Apex, COVID had other plans. It would be several years before I could cross the inaugural sailing off of my bucket list when I boarded the Carnival Venezia in Barcelona for her 15-day Transatlantic sailing.

This was the first cruise ever where we posted regular content leading up to and throughout the entire sailing on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Similar to the Carnival Celebration, we’re also hosting a Carnival Venezia Social Media Takeover starting June 21, 2023 where we’ll be sharing tips and tricks, full-length videos, and other content about this amazing ship.

Carnival Venezia is a Vista-class ship and originally debuted as the Costa Venezia. She went through an extensive dry dock before sailing for Carnival and saw multiple features change over to match the Carnival Cruise Line market. Check out our full review of the Carnival Venezia:
