What’s Different This Time

It’s hard to believe that we put our first video out about Beachcomber almost a year ago. At that time, the ship was still a bit of a mystery. Deck plans featured blank squares and we made educated guesses as to what would go where. We leveraged our experience sailing on Carnival’s sister ships, Costa Deck Plans, and our extensive experience sailing on Margaritaville at Sea to create that tour.

Now, with finalized deck plans and new details from Margaritaville at Sea, we finally have a map of the whole ship: cabins, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, pools, and outdoor spaces, all deck by deck.

If you watched our original Beachcomber tour, that video is still online and still useful for early research. But this new one has the latest information, so it’s the one to watch going forward.

From Costa Fortuna to Beachcomber

Beachcomber started life as Costa Fortuna, which sailed for Costa Cruises for more than 20 years. Margaritaville at Sea is transforming her into their third ship, joining Paradise and Islander. We cover what’s changing as she becomes Beachcomber and what you can expect from the newest ship to sail from PortMiami in 2027.

We’ll Be There for the Real Thing

We’re sailing on Beachcomber’s inaugural cruise in January 2027, so this won’t be our last update. Once she’s actually in service, we’ll compare the finished ship to these renderings and deck plans and show you exactly what changed.

You can also download the official Beachcomber deck plans directly from Margaritaville at Sea if you want to explore them yourself.
