In October of 2023, I took my first Norwegian Cruise Line sailing to Alaska. It was a last minute cruise (booked with a week to spare!) and I sailed solo. To commemorate the occasion, I recorded my check-in process, documented the boarding process, and of course, captured a ton of photos and video throughout the entire week. As we like to do when we first sail a new cruise line, I captured my thoughts after the first 24 hours on board the Norwegian Encore cruise ship. While I’ll be sharing a complete review of what I loved, didn’t love, and hated about the ship, I wanted to capture my initial observations 24 hours in to the sailing.
