Does Margaritaville at Sea offer Room Service? It’s a question we consistently get when asked about our time on Islander. Good news: We can confirm that room service is indeed available on board Margaritaville at Sea ships! We’ve included the Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Menu for breakfast below and linked to the non-breakfast offering as well! Hopefully, this post helps you apply our learnings so that you can enjoy some delicious bites in the comfort of your room.
Our Experience with Room Service
We sailed on a back-to-back voyage in December and didn’t realize the ship offered room service. There was nothing in the stateroom to let us know about the Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Menu. There weren’t any flyers or QR Codes as some lines have implemented. It wasn’t until one late night as we were walking back to our stateroom that we saw a Breakfast Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Menu door hanger and went, “What?!” Upon asking our room steward, he delivered a Room Service Breakfast menu to our cabin.
Breakfast
Breakfast Room Service is indeed available on Margaritaville at Sea, however, you may need to ask your room steward for a menu.
The breakfast Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Menu door hanger is similar to what you’d find in a hotel or other cruise ship. The first thing you do is specify your delivery time. Breakfast can be scheduled for delivery during one of two times: 7:00am-7:30am or 8:00-8:30am. You simply check the box for when you’d like it delivered.
Once you’ve selected your delivery window, you simply specify how many of each of the breakfast items you’d like delivered.
Room Service Menu Options (pricing updated July 2026)
- “The Cure” ($7) – Scrambled eggs, caramelized onions and sharp cheddar on a toasted English Muffin served with roasted potatoes. You can order this with Bacon, Sausage, Avocado, or “Regular.” It’s unclear if the options are topped on the breakfast item or served as a side. It’s also unclear if Regular just means no meat/avocado.
- No Wake Zone ($8) – Cheesy-scrambled eggs with bacon, sausage, and roasted potatoes. This one is much clearer; you simply check the box if you’d like this item and specify how many you would like to order.
- Shortstack ($8) – Two buttermilk pancakes with powdered sugar, strawberries, bacon, and sausage. Again, pretty straight forward, simply check the box and specify how many you’d like to order. But where’s the syrup option??
- First Light ($7) – Assorted mix of fresh fruit plate and berry-granola Parfait. Like “The Cure,” this option isn’t very clear or specific. You’ll receive mixed fruit (of some variety) and some type of berry-granola parfait. Does the granola have mixed berries or does the parfait? We’re not sure.
- Wake and Bakery ($3 each) – The menu also has options for Wake and Bakery (cute) which includes pastries and muffins for $3 apiece.
Room Service Menu Drink Options
Finally, there are plenty of drink options. While juices and coffees were previously included on the breakfast Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Menu, the cruise line updated the menus this year. These beverages now cost $3 each. Additionally, you can still find the “Thirsty First” adult beverages (mimosa, Bellini, Bloody Mary) at the listed price.
When Room Service first rolled out, it was clear that the door hanger was created for Islander’s sister Paradise. The fine print used to include text that read, “Drink Wristbands cannot be used for alcoholic drinks on Room Service.” Islander didn’t have Drink Wristbands. In fact, Drinks Wristbands were retired when the line rolled out the new Ultimate Beverage Chill package.
Cruise Tip: As a reminder, beverages ordered through room service are NOT included in the drinks package (see the “What is not included in the Ultimate Beverage Chill package?” FAQ for complete list of exclusions).
A couple additional things to note about Breakfast Room Service:
- Your Room Service Breakfast order must be left on your stateroom before 2:00am to ensure delivery the following morning.
- If you order an adult beverage, you must be prepared to show your ID upon delivery.
- An 18% service charge will be automatically added to the total check.
Unfortunately, since we didn’t know about Room Service Breakfast until late in our cruise, we never got to partake in any of the options. If you try Margaritaville at Sea Room Service Breakfast, take a picture and drop us a note to let us know how it is!
General Room Service
When it comes to General Room Service, we were instructed to use the “Room Service” speed dial number on our in-room telephone to order. When we asked what was on the menu, we appeared to stump our room steward. He said, “I’m not sure,” and recommended we use the button on our phone to find out. We never did get around to calling Room Service to find out. Maybe on our next sailing…
